Torn between two capsule designs? Upload both and we'll show them side by side to WishlistLab visitors with one question: which would you click? You get the click share for each, how confident the result is, and an email when it's done.

Why test your capsule?

Your capsule is the first thing a Steam shopper sees, often at 184×69 pixels in a list of dozens. If it doesn't earn the click, nothing on your store page gets a chance. Teams usually pick capsules by gut feel or a vote in their own Discord, where everyone already knows the game. A side-by-side test with people who don't is a much better signal.

How the result works

We report the share of votes for each capsule and a 95% confidence range (Wilson interval). If the range for one capsule stays above 50%, it's a clear winner. If it crosses 50%, the result is too close to call, and that's useful too: it means you can pick on other grounds. We randomise which side each capsule appears on, so a left-hand bias can't decide it, and we show votes from your own share link separately from WishlistLab visitors.

What it can't tell you

Voters are WishlistLab visitors, not a random sample of Steam users, and "which would you click?" isn't the same as a real click on Steam. Treat it as a strong signal for which design grabs attention and reads clearly at a glance, then check your Steamworks traffic after you switch.

Rules

  • Both images must be yours to use and at the exact Steamworks size for the capsule type.
  • No adult content, hate, or other studios' art. We review every test before it goes live and refund in full if we can't run it.
  • Votes are anonymous. We store a salted hash of the voter's connection to stop repeat votes, never the raw IP.
