Steam screenshot requirements

At least 5 screenshots, required by Steamworks.
1920×1080 minimum, 16:9 aspect ratio.
Gameplay only: no concept art, pre-rendered cinematics, awards or marketing text.
Mark at least 4 as suitable for all ages, or they may not show on the front page hover.

Steam trailer requirements

Up to 1920×1080, 30 or 60 fps, 5,000+ Kbps, .mov/.wmv/.mp4 (H.264 + AAC preferred), 16:9 preferred.
The first two trailers play before your screenshots, and Valve recommends the first be gameplay.
Steam builds the 6-second micro-trailer from six 1-second clips of your first trailer, so gameplay throughout matters.
